108 Sun Salutations for the Summer Solstice

Sunday June 21st 2026

8:30AM

with Kristin Venema

Surya Namaskar is a devotional sequence practiced facing the rising sun, with roots going back over 2,000 years as a way to honor the sun as both life‑giver of the planet and inner light within. 108 repetitions are strung together like a mala - each salutation like a bead in a garland of practice - and are especially powerful at threshold moments like solstices. 108 turns the asana into a tapas practice: building internal heat, discipline, and focus to create a sense of purification, reset, and intentional transition.

Our time together will be a powerful, meditative practice to honor the turning of the seasons. We will move together through a rhythmic mala of Surya Namaskar, circling through breath and movement as an embodied offering of gratitude, release, and renewal. The practice is designed to be both challenging and deeply grounding, inviting you to meet your edge with compassion and to experience the clarity that comes from sustained, intentional repetition.

We will begin with a gentle warm-up, intention & reflection and move into our sun salutation cycles broken into manageable rounds with short pauses for rest, integration, and hydration. Variations and modifications will be offered throughout, so you can honor your unique body and energy level, whether you choose to complete all 108 or rest and witness part of the practice.

We will close with a long savasana, and a brief meditation to seal in the energy of practice, leaving you feeling spacious, strong, and quietly luminous from the inside out.

Candlelit Sound Bath & Reiki Circle

Saturday April 18th 2026

6PM

with Mary Robbins

This quiet practice set in our candlelit space is designed to open you up to deep relaxation while inviting clarity and tranquility in the mind.

Reiki is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen life force energy flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's life force energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

A Reiki treatment can feel like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. It is a simple, natural and safe method of healing and creates a beneficial effect.

Accessible to everybody, this is a meditation on letting go and relaxing the body and mind.

Finding Peace in the Postures

Friday September 4th - Monday September 7th 2026

with Eddie Modestini & Kristin Bosteels

Yoga on the Inside is a method of yoga that was developed by Eddie Modestini & Kristin Bosteels out of their many combined years of study and practice with their teachers B. K. S. Iyengar, Pattabhi Jois, Manouso Manos, & H.S. Arun.

During their classes, Eddie & Kristin ask students to turn their attention inwards, towards a more meditative state as they work with the body. By cultivating a relationship with our inner landscape through the practice of Yoga on the Inside, we can develop more self-awareness and a compassionate connection to the core of our unique being.  This can allow us to open the doors to inner peace, balance, and profound transformation.

With a strong focus on structural alignment along with softening, this practice gives students the tools to take healing into their own hands and watch as their efforts bring deep change to all layers of their beings– physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

Throughout this weekend workshop, we will explore all categories of the asana practice from standing poses, inversions, backward bending, forward bending, hip openers and twists.

This workshop is open to individuals of all yoga levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners. It offers an opportunity to dive deep into the essence of yoga, embracing its transformative power to heal and nurture your body, mind, and soul.

Eddie & Kristin work very therapeutically and have a passion for helping those with specific ailments.  If you are dealing with an ailment that you would like them to address, please let them know at the beginning of each session. This workshop is available to book in it's entirety or session by session
